Melanie Loveridge was found with serious head injuries near a disused railway line close to Station Road on 13 July 2019 at about 8pm and taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital where she later died on 15 July 2019.
A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing her grievous bodily harm but released.
It was thought that she had just left The Bell Inn public house and had been riding an electric bike before she was found injured. The place where she was found was known as the Isobel Trail near to the disused railway line off Station Road.
She had lived in Derrington, in Stafford.
